Cinnamon Candied Pecans
The one thing I like about having raw pecans is that they are so versatile when it comes to cooking or baking. Our farm fresh pecans are never frozen and do not contain any preservatives; as a result, offering a taste that you just can’t get from store bought pecans. During the holidays, we really enjoy preparing homemade treats to give to our loved ones. This recipe was passed down from a family member who must really love us because it is so good! These cinnamon candied pecans come together in one pot and take minutes from start to finish. I prefer to use halves and pieces, but using only halves works too. They have an extra thick sugar coating and is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Try not to eat them all or you won’t have any to give away. On that note, you may want to make a double batch!

Cinnamon Candied Pecans
Recipe:
1/4 evaporated milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups Calianna Pieces (use only halves if you prefer)
Line a sheet pan with wax paper and set aside. In a medium pot, combine all ingredients except the pecans. Warm over medium heat to dissolve the sugar. Add pecans and continue to cook, stirring continuously. Stir pecans until they are completely covered with your sugar mixture and no syrup remains in the pot. Spread out on wax paper and let cool. If any stick together, break them apart before they cool completely.
Enjoy!
